now includes practical versions of the Knightly sword, Viking sword, Mortuary-hilt
Rapier, and Basket Hilts Rapiers. Featuring authentic hilt styling with
fully tempered un-edged and un-pointed blades, these swords are designed
to withstand rugged use while providing the level of safety required by
many of today's re-enactment societies.
The basket of this Practical Mortuary-Hilt is blackened, as were many of the originals, to provide corrosion protection. Again the blade has a 1/16" edge and a rounded tip. The scabbard is leather-covered and provided with frog button. 2076-GT
